THEO James is the Hollywood star who earned his big break starring in the Divergent franchise in 2014, propelling him to newfound fame and bigger movie roles.
He’s had a tremendous career so far, but what else has Theo starred in over the years? We have all you need to know about the English hunk.

What other shows and movies has he been in?

Though his popularity came about from his role as Four in the Divergent film franchise, Theo had already starred in a number of films prior to becoming one of Hollywood’s most sought after actor.

His first major role came in 2011 when he played the character of Jed Harper in the popular TV series Bedlam for six episodes.

That very same year, Theo would go on to star in the hilarious comedy The Inbetweeners Movie, alongside a number of notable names such as Simon Bird, James Buckley and Blake Harrison.

The following year, Sony Pictures hired the Brit to play David in the thrilling Underworld Awakening, starring Kate Beckinsale and Michael Ealy.

While Theo wasn’t necessarily deemed as a lead character, the role gave him enough screen time for people to see that he was slowly but surely landing himself bigger and better roles – particularly in major blockbuster hits.

Underworld Awakening grossed an impressive $160 million at the box office with a production budget of $70 million.

From there, Theo landed a string of major roles in shows such as Golden Boy, where he played Detective Walter Clark, before signing on for Divergent in 2014.

He reprised his role as David in the Underworld sequel Blood Wars in 2016, having also landed parts in movies such as London Fields, How It Ends, Lying and Stealing and The Benefactor.

And in 2019, Theo was cast as Sidney Parker in the ITV series Sanditon – which includes the likes of Mark Stanley, Kate Ashfield, Crystal Clarke and Alexandra Roach.

The eight-part series will premiere on Sunday, August 25 at 9pm.
