The Love Island villa was a place of conflict during Friday night’s episode, with Yewande and Curtis causing upset for different reasons.
The Love Island bosses always like to throw in a game that can cause a little bit of chaos and their kissing countdown was enough to put the cat among the pigeons.
The boys were blindfolded and stood with ear phones on so that they had no idea who the girl was in front of them.
They would then proceed to have a cheeky snog before the boys marked them out of ten.
What could go wrong there? A lot it would seem and for poor Curtis Pritchard, a case of mistaken identity (so he says) brought a heap of post-game misery for him from partner Amy Hart.
After failing to identify his ‘other half’ and award a measly seven-out-of-ten, Curtis then went on to rate Arabella’s kiss a perfect ten.
Cue an upset Amy and a whole lot of grovelling and apologising from the dance professional.
The good news for them though was that the night ended with a date and a dance hand-in-hand and after a million apologies, Amy and Curtis were back in a happy place.
This is more than can be said about Yewande and Danny Williams.
Following a chat initiated by model Arabella, the currently coupled Yewande launched into a furious tirade.
She took exception to accusations she was being “territorial” after showing affection by sitting on Danny while he was talking to her love rival.
After storming off from a heated conversation with Arabella, Yewande told others in the villa: “I am f ** fuming. I’m fuming. I am f ** livid.
“She said I was being territorial over him.
“I feel like the crazy in me is going to start coming out today. Because I know I’m a crazy b****.”
Arabella had taken issue with the sudden affection shown by Yewande towards Danny since her arrival in the villa.
She told Yewande: “I was quite shocked by that behaviour.
“You literally just sat on him. It’s a little bit territorial. Is that really showing affection?”
In Yewande’s mind it was but Danny was not so sure, when he had a tête-à-tête with Arabella, confessing he found Yewande’s behaviour difficult to understand.
Could be a make-or-break couple days ahead for them, especially as Danny’s head is now swimming between Yewande and Arabella.
