US troops suffered traumatic brain injuries in Iran strike, Pentagon confirms after Trump called trauma ‘headaches’


US troops have suffered traumatic brain injuries after an Iranian air strike, the Pentagon has confirmed.

The confirmation comes hours after Trump downplayed their injuries insisting they were “trauma headaches”.

Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman said 34 troops have been diagnosed, and 17 of them are still under medical observation.

Today, eight of them who were transported to Germany have been moved back to the United States.
