In a few hours’ time, the UFC will host their tenth pay-per-view card of 2019 in Melbourne, Australia.
Topping the bill at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium is the eagerly-anticipated middleweight title fight between undisputed champion Robert Whittaker and interim champion Israel Adesanya.
UFC 243’s showpiece bout pits the two best middleweights on the planet against each other and will see Australia and New Zealand renew their long and storied sporting rivalry – with Whittaker representing the former and Adesanya the latter.
In the co-main event of the evening, Adesanya’s fellow New Zealander Dan Hooker takes on Al Iaquinta in a pivotal 155lb match-up.
Tai Tuivasa will also be in action on home soil, taking on Moldovan heavyweight Sergey Spivak.
