Love Island 2019 may have only just begun, but it looks as though there’s already a love triangle forming with dramatic results.
Viewers were horrified during Tuesday’s episode as bombshell Tommy Fury stole Lucie Donlan from original partner Joe Garratt, leaving him devastated.
A teaser for the next episode revealed tension as Joe fretted over his coupling, while Amber Gill appeared to make the most of the situation and set her sights on him.
Now, it’s revealed the villa reaches breaking point as Lucie grows torn between Joe and Tommy, with awkward consequences.
Avoiding the boys, she takes to the sofas to settle down for the night while Joe is desperate to know how the date went.
The next day an emotional Lucie is confused, but she’s not the only one after Tommy continuously spots Lucie looking at Joe despite being paired up with him.
Clearly frustrated he tells her: “Every time I look over I see your f**king eyes and I’m like, what’s going on here?
“We’re in a f**king couple, I wanna get to know you there’s no f**king crime against that.”
The surfer doesn’t really respond, while Tommy also shares an understanding of her predicament telling her: “I think you’re too nice of a person to upset anybody. You don’t want to upset me and don’t want to upset Joe.”
She’s left in tears as her fellow female islanders, including Amy Hart, support her as she admits not knowing who to go with.
But at this rate she might be left alone, when both Tommy and Joe grow frustrated over the situation after her date.

Lucie does appear to enjoy her date with the boxer while Joe pines back at the villa, but Tommy is forced to confront her later when she offers him the could shoulder.
It all kicks off when Lucie decides she wants to progress with Joe despite being paired up with Tommy, only to do a u-turn when she feels she could give the newcomer a chance.
So who will she choose, and will she risk losing both men?
Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
