This Morning crew member gets shoved off screen after she appears in shot

One of the This Morning crew members made a rare appearance on screen today but it ended with her getting shoved out of the shot.

Hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were interviewing agony aunt Deidre Sanders when they brought up the clip of her pushing a backstage runner out of the way.

They then brought the runner out so Deidre could apologise to her, before she ended up getting the nudge once again.

Eamonn said: “Deidre was imprisoned for assault. There was a lovely member of our team called Catherine Hodgson who would do anything for you, she works in production here.

“Rather than let me explain see the evidence that put Deidre in prison herself.”

Deidre insisted it was all innocent, saying: “She was hurtling towards me and I just gently put out my arm just to say ‘No you’re gonna walk in front of the camera!’

“You mean people, you doctored it all.”

The runner said Deidre’s shove was ‘not gentle’

Eamonn responded: “Catherine is here so you can apologise to her. She’s never recovered.”

Deidre then joked that Catherine was clearly “alive and well”.

Catherine started to explain how it had affected her, saying: “It was not gentle that’s for sure.”
