She met Matty ‘J’ Johnson on The Bachelor back in 2017.

On Thursday, Laura Byrne took a trip down memory lane as she returned to Sydney Observatory, where she and her now-fiancé had their second solo date.

But three years after the original adventure, the loved-up Bachelor couple brought along a new addition – their one-year-old daughter Marlie-Mae.

‘I don’t know if any of you guys remember this but when Matt and I were on the show, he took me to the Observatory for our second single date,’ Laura said on her Instagram Stories.

She added: ‘And this is the first time we’ve been back here. We can’t get in because its shut but it’s a pretty damn amazing view.’

Laura went on to share a tidbit of Bachelor trivia that was left on the cutting room floor.

‘Another thing that didn’t make it on the show was I made Matt a cuff and he still wears it every day,’ Laura said, holding up Matty’s arm to show off the wristband.

‘Inside it has the coordinates for the star that we got because we’re super lame,’ she explained.

Matty and Laura announced their engagement in April last year.

It comes after he hinted that they’d already said ‘I do’ when he referred to Laura as his ‘wife’ in a recent interview with property website Domain.

‘My wife, Laura, fostered [rescue dog] Buster before we met,’ he said.

‘I never had a dog of my own and he’s an adopted family member now. We hang out every day. He is a Bull Arab, six-and-a-half years old and weighs 40 kilos.’

While Matty’s comment may have just been a slip of the tongue, it has led to speculation the pair are now legally husband and wife.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Matty and Laura for comment.
