Michelle Visage’s Strictly Come Dancing exit has been branded a “fix” by furious viewers, who have claimed that she was sent home tonight because she isn’t in the upcoming tour.

Taking to Twitter, viewers shared their opinion on why they think Michelle was let go.

One frustrated user wrote: “No rage here. Michelle Visage is not on the SCD Tour so it makes sense. Happens every year…sign up for a tour and guarantee a wee bit more show longevity.”

“So first Michelle and Gio shockingly we’re [sic] put in the dance off for no reason and now the @bbcstrictly isn’t taking her on the strictly tour next year? Wtf! Fix this now please..we want Michelle Visage on that tour line up”.

The tour isn’t put on by the Strictly series’ production team and is done separately by an independent production.

And with only seven out of fifteen couples in the tour, they’ll all exit the main show at some point.

She and Giovanni Pernice landed in the bottom two with YouTuber Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard, meaning both couples had to dance again.

Michelle and Giovanni performed their couples choice dance, which was street commercial, to Madonna’s iconic Vogue.

Meanwhile Saffron and AJ Quickstepped to Beverley Knight’s Marvellous Party in a bid to impress the judges.

Craig Revel Horwood deliberated over the decision, admitting that he found it difficult to pick who to save.

Eventually, however, he said: “I’m having a really difficult time with myself over this. This doesn’t normally happen to me. I normally make a very quick, instant decision. This has been really, really difficult.

“One couple took all the notes on board and one couple were better. And the couple I’ve decided I would like to save is save is Saffron and AJ.”

A rep for Strictly Come Dancing has been contacted for comment by Mirror Online.
