Sir Philip Green acted ‘inappropriately’ with Pilates instructor but is let off by spa bosses

SPA bosses found Sir Philip Green acted “inappropriately” with a gym instructor but only suspended him.

The Topshop chief, 67, is facing assault charges for groping the bum, hips and stomach of Katie Surridge, 37, during two Pilates sessions at a luxury US health retreat.

Paperwork released by the attorney’s office in Arizona reveals cops established he had been investigated by the Canyon Ranch.

Det David Stivers said: “The findings of those investigations determined that there was inappropriate behaviour by Mr Green and his spa privileges were suspended for a short time.

“Once reinstated, Mr Green was not allowed to be around Ms Surridge due to the findings of the investigation.”

Ms Surridge said she reported an alleged 2016 grope to staff and Green reportedly told her he been taken to the “principal’s office”.

But he told The Sun in February he did now know anything about the first allegations from that year.

Representatives for the retail tycoon said: “It would be entirely inappropriate for Sir Philip Green to comment on proceedings before a court, other than for him to confirm that he denies any inappropriate misconduct towards Ms Surridge.”
