The stars of X Factor : Celebrity hit the red carpet today to officially launch the show – but some important people were missing.
Simon Cowell , who created the ITV talent show, didn’t appear to make it along to London’s Mayfair Hotel today for the official launch of the show.
But one person who made a big impression on the red carpet was Nicole Scherzinger, who’s a judge on the series with Louis Walsh and Simon.
The Pussycat Dolls star looked incredible in a pair of tailored white patterned trousers and a matching one-shouldered crop top.
Her dark locks were slicked back away from her face and hung loose down her back.
The stunner grabbed everyone’s attention as she blew a kiss for photographers on her way into the event.
Louis was there too, looking smart in a classic black suit and white shirt with the collar open.
But it appears Simon didn’t make it along.
Just a couple of days ago, he was pictured heading out to fancy restaurant Nobu, in Malibu, to celebrate his 60th birthday with his girlfriend Lauren Silverman and their son Eric, five, as well as Lauren’s 13-year-old son Adam.
It’s unclear whether or not Simon, who is also busy filming America’s Got Talent, is still Stateside.
Love Island supergroup The Islanders posed up together on the red carpet, not long after Wes Nelson hinted they were a little divided and said he found the name a little embarrassing.
Wes posed for snaps with his bandmates Zara McDermott , Samira Mighty and Eyal Booker.
The gang were a long way from the villa as they posed up in sharp suits and fancy frocks, but they looked as stunning as ever.
Megan McKenna is sure to have turned a few heads as she walked into the event.
The former TOWIE star and country music singer looked incredible in a grey and black trouser suit, adding a sexy twist by going topless underneath her jacket.
She held onto a burgundy clutch bag and let her blonde locks hang around her shoulders in loose waves.
Former Coronation Street star Victoria Ekanoye also looked beautiful.
Posing up on the red carpet in a backless yellow gown, she definitely looked ready to hit the stage.
Simon has said that this new celebrity version of the show is exactly what the franchise needed.
He said: “I think change in any aspect is good, but I was saying to someone the other day, ‘I’ve signed Westlife, I’ve signed Five, Il Divo, One Direction, Little Mix. They’re all groups, but they’re all different’.
“Sometimes you’ve got to take a break of at least a year, two years, between signing one kind of group and then launching another.
“It’s the same with The X Factor . You can’t just keep making the same show that it was 14 years ago and expect it to be the same show today.
“You’ve got to take a step back for a little while.”
