Sheila Ferguson has hinted that she is set to be seen again in the I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! jungle – eight years after first starring on the series.
The Three Degrees singer, 72, who was voted off third in the 2004 season of the reality TV hit, took to twitter to tease her followers that she is “going to be out of the loop for a while” and that she has to remain tight-lipped as she has signed a non-disclosure agreement.
Sending her fans into a frenzy, she penned: “I’ve only got a few minutes, so let me wish you all a fabulous week. Ummmm, how can I say this? Ok, I’ll be wayyyy out of the loop for a while. Having signed a NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) I am contractually bound not to say anymore. Much love, Sxx”
Shortly after, the When Will I See You Again hitmaker’s fans asked her if she was suggesting that she was heading down under to spend some time in the outback.
One asked: “Are you going in the Jungle Sheila ?? :)”
“Off to the jungle?” and “OMG?! You’re going into the Celebrity Jungle?!” commented others.
A fourth penned: “see you in the jungle then.lol xx.”
Another fan made a reference to the I’m A Celeb eating trial by typing: “Dont go eating them grubs and spiders!.”
Sheila starred on the series in 2004 alongside Vic Reeves and his wife Nancy Sorrell, Janet Street Porter, Paul Burrell, Fran Cosgrave, Sophie Anderton, Joe Pasquale, Antonio Fargas, Nicole Appleton and Brian Harvey.
The soul star was voted off in the third week when she came up head to head with Starsky and Hutch’s Antonio Fargas.
Prior to her departure she took part in one bushtucker trial.
Comedian Joe Pasquale went on to be was crowned King of the jungle.
