Scarlett cut a casual figure for her lesson, clad in a slouchy black dress as she prepared to hit the roads.

Her caramel flecked brunette tresses were styled in an updo while the star appeared to go make-up free for the outing.

Scarlett has previously spoken about her battle to lose her L plates, admitting she had taken – and failed- the practical test 13 times in March 2018.

Appearing on the Channel 4 comedy series Rob Beckett’s Playing For Time’, Scarlett said: ‘My dream was to be a bus driver but I can’t even pass the test to drive a car.

‘I get panicky. On one occasion, I had to pull over and turn on the air conditioning full blast, I was sweating so much. And we had only just started the test.’

She has also said: ‘The only thing I can never get my hands on is a driving licence, I’ve failed my driving test too many times, [more] than I care to think about.’

The sighting comes after Scarlett shared a rare gushing post about her boyfriend Scott Dobinson on Instagram.

The couple have been dating for over a year and the TV star urged her followers to ‘never give up on love’ after finding her ‘soulmate.’

Sharing a sweet picture of them together, Scarlett wrote on Thursday: ‘I normally don’t like saying this because I’m scared I jinx myself.

‘But @scottdobby takes all that fear away. I am so happy I have found my soulmate.

‘Never give up on finding true love we all find it at different points in our life ❤️ #love #happiness.’

In the picture, Scarlett had a big smile on her face and looked lovely wearing a black mini dress and sandals as she stood by the water’s edge.

Scott matched her style in black, opting for a Rolling Stones T-shirt, shorts and trainers.

‘If you are like me & have ever criticised your body or missed out like not gone on a night out or to a beach or pool or cancelled an event because you felt like you looked too fat or too thin or too saggy or not perfect then STOP!

‘Lets be our own best friends and not stop living our best life just because we aren’t a ‘perfect aesthetic’ life is far too short and life would be super boring if we were all the same!
