Russell’s character [who has been credited as The Man on IMDB] is seen talking to his petrified victim on the phone while sitting across a man named Andy.

Thinking she is safely talking to Andy about The Man, Rachel [Pistorious], says: ‘He’s not a friend, okay? He’s a psycho! I just watched him run over someone at the gas station!’

Russell then shocks her by replying: ‘You’re gonna [sic] have to say that again Rachel, you’re breaking up. Just here with Andy, who says if you’re almost here, he can wait.’

Clearly freaked out, Rachel responds: ‘What do you want?’

‘It’s not what I want, it’s what I need. I need you to learn how to say you’re sorry!’ Russel informs her.

When Rachel apologises, a frustrated Russell replies: ‘No! I need you to say you’re sorry, and actually f***ing mean it! This is the beginning of that first lesson!’

When Andy demands for his phone to be passed back to him, he is viciously attacked by Russell.

Unhinged had an original release date of September 4th, but Solstice announced it was being pushed up to July 1.

When initially speaking about the movie being pulled forward to July 1, Russell explained to The Morning: ‘If you think about it, there is going to be a ‘traffic jam’ of all these movies that were being held out. You’re looking at half a year of releases or more.

‘So Solstice, the studio that made the film is a very young studio – this is actually their first major release – but it’s a studio which is full of lots of experienced people from all over the place and different backgrounds.
