In February, Jackie told Stellar magazine that she had quit The Real Housewives of Melbourne to focus on starting a family with Ben.

She decided to share her experience because she wanted to be more ‘honest’ with herself and possibly help other women going through the same thing.
Family plans: In February, Jackie told Stellar magazine about the real reason she was quitting The Real Housewives of Melbourne, to focus on starting a family with Ben
She explained that her time in the South African jungle on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2018 had made her realise she wanted to be a mother.
‘Do I know I’m definitely going to have children? From the depths of my heart, yes. But what I haven’t been prepared for is the way it was going to come,’ she said.
Supporting her along the way is her husband, Ben, who told Stellar he was surprised by how IVF works, calling it an assistance to the natural process.
Struggles: At the time, she revealed to the publication that she is on her fourth round of IVF and that she kept her treatments under wraps because she felt she’d be judged
Jackie said that while she and Ben don’t have a time frame or budget, they know that they have other options – surrogacy or adoption – if she is unable to carry her child.
‘The biggest thing I’ve learnt… is to never hide things,’ she said.
‘When you talk, it’s like you become lighter. And please don’t feel like you’re not good enough. Because you are enough. It’s okay. It’s not your fault.’
‘Never hide things!’ The brunette beauty, who inspired by comedian Amy Schumer and her IVF story, explained that she is speaking up about her journey to help other women not feel burdened by it
