TRAVEL experts have revealed how you can book a private jet flight which costs less than Ryanair tickets.
Michele Robson and Paul Khosla, who run flight tips website Turning Left For Less, explained how they managed to do it.
The duo first found flights with Ryanair from London to Palma, costing £269 return.
They explained on their website that this meant they had the same amount of money to find a chartered private plane to fly with.
Using flight search tool ITA Matrix, which is used by Google for their flights system, they found a flight with private jet airline Hahn Air from Luxembourg to Dusseldorf.
The private plane, which has scheduled regular flights, would take off at 3:45pm on August 9 and land at 4:30pm that same day.
Using Expedia to book it, the 45-minute flight cost just £250 – £19 less than the Ryanair flight.
The tickets even included business class lounge access before they were able to board the flight by themselves.
After being taken to the plane by bus, they were then offered views of the plane on the tarmac after walking directly up to the small plane.
Michele explained to Mail Online: “We felt like celebrities as the pilots personally welcomed us onboard by the sleek aircraft.”
She added that the take-off was “stunning” which they watched through the open cockpit.
Not only were they offered drinks and snacks, but they were also able to chat to the pilots in the cockpit during the flight.
The pair booked flights with British Airways to Luxembourg and returning from Dusseldorf using their Avios air miles.
Flights to and from the destinations with the BA cost from £118 return.
How to book a private jet cheaper than Ryanair flights
Flight search website ITA Matrix can be used to find the best deals on planes including private jets.
The website only searches for the deals, as they cannot be booked on the website.
Once a good deal is found, you can then head directly to the website offering the deal, such as Expedia or Google Flights.
We looked to find another bargain and found a Hahn Air flight from Luxembourg to Dusseldorf for £253 on September 2.
Compared to Ryanair flights, a return flight from London Gatwick to Alicante on August 29 costs £299.
