And on Sunday, Patti Newton, 75, revealed her husband Bert encouraged her to bare all on the show despite initially being ‘worried’.

‘I was worried that everybody else would be very perky and I would be Miss Hangin’ Angin’, but you know, we are all in the same boat,’ she told Perth Now.

‘I want the message to get through to all those people who look in the mirror at 25 and see flaws, please stop that, be proud of your body, it is an amazing machine,’ she continued.

Patti went on to say it’s important to give ‘everything your best no matter your age’ and said you shouldn’t ‘compare yourself to others’.

The 75-year-old also said that her husband Bert told her to ‘go for it’ when she was given the opportunity to appear on the show.

Patti was the third star to be confirmed for the show, alongside Home and Away star Sam Frost and Better Homes and Gardens presenter Adam Dovile.

It was claimed she would join singer Danielle Spencer and former Home and Away heartthrob Orpheus Pledger in stripping off for charity.

The charity special is set to air on Seven in September and will raise awareness for breast and prostate cancers.

Meanwhile, Patti’s daughter Lauren Newton welcomed her sixth child, a baby boy named Alby, into the world on Thursday.

The 40-year-old, who welcomed Alby seven weeks early, posted on her Instagram story on Friday saying she and champion swimmer husband Matt Welsh ‘are thrilled to have our beautiful boy here safely.’

Alby’s early arrival comes after Lauren revealed she had been separated from her young children for weeks due to complications with her pregnancy.
