Each-way Thief

BATTLE OF IDEAS looks nicely weighted as Colin Tizzard ups the tough six-year-old in trip at Taunton (2.15). Try him in an each-way double with consistent BANG ON (2.50), course and distance winner as a novice here last year.

SWEET NATURE (12.45 Lingfield) has come right down the weights and could be helped by stepping up in trip for this modest contest.

Templegate’s NAP

HIGHWAY TO SUCCESS (2.50 Taunton) landed a comfortable win on his handicap debut at Wincanton last time. That was a race for conditional riders so he’s off the same mark today.

Sirius NAP

PERUVIAN LILY (6.00 Chelmsford) has moved to Mick Appleby’s and could be rejuvenated by the switch.

Tom Pepper’s NAP

RED GUNNER (2.25 Lingfield) is bidding for a hat-trick and can strike gold.

SunRating’s NAP

SPEED MERCHANT (4.30 Chelmsford) won his first start for Mick Appleby last time and there looks to be more to come.
