Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal join chase for Dynamo Kiev star Mykola Shaparenko

MANCHESTER UNITED, Chelsea and Arsenal have all joined the chase to sign Dynamo Kiev star Mykola Shaparenko.

The Ukrainian attacking midfielder, 20, has attracted the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs after a strong 2018-19.

Mykola Shaparenko played against Chelsea last season and is now on the radar of a host of Premier League sides

Now reports claim FOUR Premier League teams, including West Ham, are tracking the progress of the Dynamo Kiev youngster ahead of a summer swoop.

CaughtOffside claim Shaparenko could be on his way to England after scoring eight goals in 33 games last term.

The four-cap Ukraine international broke into the Kiev set-up in 2017 and has quickly gone from strength-to-strength, signing a contract keeping him at the side until 2023.

Shaparenko may sound familiar to Chelsea fans, as the youngster played in both legs of his side’s 8-0 aggregate drubbing in the Europa League last term.

While Chelsea aren’t able to make a move for him until next summer thanks to their transfer ban, they are keeping tabs in the hope their rivals don’t swoop this month.

However, any club that makes a move for Shaparenko this summer may struggle to obtain a work permit for the Ukrainian.

It could be Premier League sides would need to loan him out for a year before he could reapply – and have more chance of being successful.

Meanwhile, Europe’s top clubs are also keeping tabs on the stunning situation surrounding Gareth Bale.

Earlier this weekend, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane sensationally claimed he hopes to see Bale leave in the next 24 hours.

The incendiary comments sparked a furious backlash from the Welsh star’s agent, Jonathan Barnett.

Man Utd and Tottenham are just two teams thought to be in the running for Bale.
