Love Island viewers have called out Maura Higgins after her expression told the story when new girl Francesca Allen chose Curtis Pritchard in the latest recoupling.
Fans of the ITV2 dating show believe that karma has come back to bite Maura, after her very public chasing of Curtis was cited as one of the reasons why Amy Hart left the villa early.
Since Curtis called time on his relationship with Amy, he has become the most sought after singleton in the villa.
As well as Maura’s flirty advances, new girl Francesca also had designs on the professional dancer and when a recoupling was announced, with the girls choosing, it was going to be first come, first served when it came to Curtis.
With Francesca getting first dibs, Curtis was all smiles when she chose him, which is more than could be said for Maura.
Her face of thunder was enough to portray her thoughts on this choice and viewers at home were delighted that Maura had ‘got her comeuppance’.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Maura finally getting a taste of her own medicine 100% rooting for Curtis and Francesca”
Another rejoiced at Maura’s face: “Still laughing at Maura’s face when Francesca picked Curtis fair play to her as nobody thought she’s have the guts to stand up to Maura…”
One viewer believes karma has struck: “Now is karma anyway curtis looks ok with francesca not every time maura get what she want.”
While Francesca chose Curtis, it looks like Maura won’t take it lying down and the love triangle could dominate the rest of the series.
*Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
