Katie Price gushes she’s ‘so happy’ after secret news ‘put a smile’ on her face days after bankruptcy order

KATIE Price has dropped a huge hint there are happier times ahead after being hit with bankruptcy days before Christmas.

The mum of five is in dire financial straights, with warnings she might even have to sell her mucky mansion to pay off debts.

Katie Price teased a very happy secret as she confessed shes ‘got a smile’ on her face

Yet on her Instagram Stories page, the former glamour model told fans her luck was beginning to turn.

She showed off her broken manicure in a video which saw one finger bandaged up, yet it was the caption which commanded the most attention.

Over the snap, Katie posted the words: “Chilling with my broken nail lol but shocked by my news I got today.

“I’m so happy, new year new start.”

In a telling comment she added: “Tumthing has put a smile on my face.” followed by a dancing girl emoji and love heart icon.

It remains to be seen whether the comment related to the state of her bank account, or to her relationship with on-off lover, Kris Boyson.

It will be a welcome bit of happy news for Katie after a week which saw her refuse to leave her home despite her bankruptcy order.

Katie, once worth £45m, faces being booted out of the £2m property as part of a High Court ruling over her finances after a bankruptcy charge was placed on the property on December 3.

Katie is refusing to leave the plush pad despite her money worries

She has told pals that she has ordered her team of accountants to find a way of keeping hold of the property and the “deluded” former Page Three model has even claimed she’ll have it back by Christmas.

A pal told The Sun Online: “Katie is refusing to accept that she has to lose the house. She absolutely loves her mansion and has told the people in charge of her bankruptcy to find a way.

“She doesn’t see how or why she should have to leave the place where she and the kids are so happy.

“A lot of her friends are really worried. She’s behaving a bit deluded and is just seemingly refusing to face up to reality.”
