Josie Gibson has revealed being a single parent left her “devastated” as she hoped to make things work with her ex Terry.

The couple broke up earlier this year, three months after welcoming their baby son Reggie-James.

Former Big Brother winner Josie revealed the pair tried to make things work, but were unable to stay together.

Josie even admitted she was so “obsessed” with her little bundle of joy, that she found herself not even speaking with her ex.

Speaking on Loose Women on Monday, Josie revealed all on parenthood, and how she feels “blessed” with her baby boy.

She even brought him back onto the panel, with the adorable tot leaving the Loose Women stars in meltdown.

Josie explained: “It’s not what I wanted to come back and say. I was so proud of our family unit and that we’d done it properly, but yeah I’m a single parent. It’s devastating really.”

It’s not how she wanted it to be for her son, but Josie said she loves being a mum and would have 10 children if she could.

On being single and caring for Reggie-James, she went on: “It is stressful being a single parent but sometimes it’s easier working on your own and not having someone against you.”

Josie went on about the split: “I was panicked over the thought of doing it all on my own, but you get this inner strength and you’ve just gotta get on with it, you’ve got no choice.”

Josie said she and her baby boy have a close bond, and that when it comes to co-parenting, she and her ex stick to a schedule.

The new mum even tried an app that meant she and her partner didn’t even have to communicate, but he wasn’t so keen on it.

Josie then brought the little one out onto the show, and the panellists and even viewers were cooing over the adorable tot.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
