After condemning those making light of Kanye West’s recent erratic behavior, Jamie Lynn Spears defended her older sister Britney from an online hater.

When a prying Instagram user asked the 29-year-old teen star to address her sibling’s ‘obvious mental illness’ on Tuesday, Jamie shut the troll down.

‘You have no right to assume anything about my sister, and I have NO right to speak about HER health and personal matters,’ the Zoey 101 star wrote back in her comment section.

She added: ‘She is a strong, badass, unstoppable woman, and that’s the only thing that is OBVIOUS.’

Spears also explained to another user, who urged her to speak on the #FreeBritney Movement, that she ‘would never speak out just to clarify things to the public, when the person it pertains to does not want it to happen.’

‘I’d rather take all the hate, then speak about someone else’s personal matter, that they want to be kept private,’ she wrote back, before limiting comments on her post.

The upsetting comments, which prompted the mother-of-two’s replies, came under Spears’ latest post on social media, which was a repost of Halsey’s tweet about Kim Kardashian’s husband.

Spears offered her own take on the rapper’s latest ‘manic episode,’ captioning the post in part, ‘I pray this doesn’t bring shame to anyone dealing with mental illness, you are not alone, and you are loved.’

The full caption read, ‘“If you can’t offer understanding or sympathy, offer your silence”- HALSEY.’

Jamie Lynn continued, ‘If you deal with mental illness or care for someone dealing with mental illness, then you know how important it is to respect the situation with privacy for the person, and the family trying to protect their loved ones, no matter how it may appear to the public, and as the public we must learn to do the same.’

After Kanye West’s controversial rally in South Carolina, where he claimed Harriet Tubman never really freed slaves and made other outlandish remarks, singer Halsey offered her support to those suffering mental illness.

The 43-year-old rapper previously opened up about his struggles with bipolar disorder in the past, and the 25-year-old singer (real name Ashley Nicolette Frangipane) tweeted about her own experiences navigating the condition.

While Halsey never mentions West by name in a series of several tweets, it was clear she was referring to West’s now-infamous incident on Saturday night.

‘No jokes right now. I have dedicated my career to offering education and insight about bipolar disorder and I’m so disturbed by what I’m seeing,’ Halsey began.

‘Personal opinions about someone aside, a manic episode isnt a joke. If you can’t offer understanding or sympathy, offer your silence,’ she added.

In another tweet, she added, ‘A lot of people you know probably have bipolar disorder and you aren’t aware of it.’
