Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are taking a two-month break from This Morning and it’s their last show today.
The presenters are about to embark on their annual time off for the summer holidays, and they’re making a special appearance on a Friday to say goodbye.
The pair normally work Monday to Thursday, with replacement hosts filling in at the end of the week.
On today’s show, Holly, 38, and Phil, 57, will be able to spend the whole of August with their families.
However, the telly stars are unlikely to be apart for long as the pair regularly take holidays together during their time-off.
They won’t be back on TV for more than seven weeks.
Eamonn Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford, both 59, usually fill in for Holly and Phil on Fridays and they take on the Monday to Thursday shows when the pair are off.
They are the top choice to host the show throughout the summer, with another presenting pair taking on Fridays.
This year producers might draft in Rochelle Humes and Mark Wright to take on more of the presenting duties after a successful trial run last week.
Earlier this year, they also mixed it up by bringing in I’m A Celebrity co-stars John Barrowman and Emily Atack to try fronting the show.
They filled in for Holly and Phil over Easter.
As well as a lengthy summer holiday, Holly and Phil get time off at Easter and Christmas and only work on This Morning four days a week.
