Emmerdale aired a twist in the second of two episodes on ITV on Thursday night, as Brenda Walker made a shocking decision.
Dan Spencer was rushed to hospital after suffering an allergic reaction, before injuring his back in a fall.
He’d tried to reach his phone to call for help when his throat had begun closing up, but he slipped and hurt himself.
Brenda and Eric Pollard found him collapsed at the garage, with them calling an ambulance.
Fans were horrified though after seeing her hide evidence that might help Dan, and explain his reaction.
He’d felt unwell after eating one of Brenda’s wraps at the café, and she was shown hiding the wrapper later on.
As Dan remained in hospital with scans confirming a back injury that needed surgery, Brenda continued to cover her tracks.
Dan’s ex Kerry Wyatt was suspicious though, knowing the café was likely the only place he would have eaten from that day.
As she vowed to find out what caused the reaction, she informed a panicked Brenda about him not being able to feel his legs or feet.
Kerry quickly speculated that Brenda was keeping something back, and could be shutting the café to hide any evidence that would get her into trouble.
It’s then that Brenda quickly “framed” someone else, suggesting another villager could be to blame.

After Wendy gave Dan some pills for his hangover, she made it seem very dodgy claiming neither her or Dan knew what the pills were.
Trying to shift the blame onto Wendy, Brenda didn’t care what it took to get Kerry off her back.
Viewers were stunned at how far Brenda had gone, with one commenting: “Brenda you cow how could you do that !! Imagine blaming Wendy !!”
Another said: “Brenda now blaming wendy ffs.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
