She then panned the camera around her impressive temporary accommodation, which was showed to include beds covered with pink, beige, and grey cushions.

With lanterns and fluffy rugs scattered around the flower-decorated space, the family were also treated to care packages that included eye masks and slippers.

And, as an addition sure to be a delight for the screen star’s daughter’s, a special bar was set up for them to take soft drinks and bags of sweet treats.

Natalie shares her eldest daughter with ex Adam Cottrell, while she raises her youngest offspring with her partner, EastEnders cameraman Marc Humphreys.

The actress, who was forced to pause filming on EastEnders amid the COVID-19 pandemic, revealed earlier this year that she is finally ‘at ease’ with her body after years of ‘ups and downs’.

Natalie, who joined the cast as Sonia Fowler aged just nine, was bullied about her weight and was even called a ‘beached whale’ before reaching her teens.

And while her weight has fluctuated between a size six and 16, she is now body confident at a size ten.

‘I feel very at ease with myself now, as I’ve got older. Throughout the years I’ve gone through a lot of ups and downs,’ she told the Express Saturday magazine.

‘Now, I just know the simple things that work – eat well, exercise, drink lots of water. All the boring things but I feel like my body is the size it should be now.’

The actress was thrust into the limelight on Albert Square before her 10th birthday, and has struggled with growing up in the public eye.

Aged just 12 she was described as a ‘beached whale’, a moment in her life that she could only describe as ‘awful’.

‘I understand now why my mum was so angry and protective of me, I would be exactly the same if it was one of my daughters. But you do develop a thick skin, you have to really,’ she added.

Last year Natalie ran the London Marathon and fell in love with running during her training which helped her to lose three stone.

The soap star told Heart’s Jenni Falconer on RunPod: ‘I have learnt how to eat and how to be comfortable with who I am… You get wiser as you get older and I just feel much more confident and comfortable.’

In the midst of her yo-yo dieting, the screen star even released fitness DVD Then And Now in 2008, but went onto reveal just one year later that it was an unhealthy relationship with laxatives that led her to drop the pounds.

Happy: 'I feel very at ease with myself now, as I've got older,' she said. 'Throughout the years I've gone through a lot of ups and downs'

She told Heat magazine at the time: ‘I really wasn’t well. I was bordering on having an eating disorder. There were nights I would go out for dinner and then I’d go home and take laxatives because I didn’t want the food inside me.’

After her weight crept back up to a size 14, Natalie admitted she was much happier with her figure, but shrunk back down to just under nine stone in 2011 following the birth of her daughter Eliza, now eight.

Following the release of her second fitness DVD The Perfect 10 in 2013, the Celebrity Big Brother star seemed content with her body, going onto reveal the results of her recent weight loss on the red carpet.

Since getting engaged to cameraman Marc Humphreys in 2015 and welcoming her second child just one year later, the actress said she feels in a really good place.

She told The Mirror: ‘All I know is that I’m really happy. I am the most content I’ve ever been. It’s brilliant. I’m in a lovely place right now. Work’s good, life’s good, family are good. It’s all good.’
