EastEnders have aired the moment that Keegan Baker proposed to his girlfriend Tiffany Butcher, following spoilers that the pair are due to get married.
Keegan popped the question in tonight’s episode as the young couple made use of an empty hotel room where they declared their love for one another.
The shock proposal came after Keegan apologised to Tiffany for his parents coming over earlier in the episode which stopped them from having sex for the first time.
While the pair spent the night together, Keegan handed his girlfriend a bouquet of flowers and they enjoyed a romantic meal together, when nervous Zack Morris who plays Keegan posed the question to Maisie Smith’s character Tiffany.
He started off the conversation about marriage as he laughed: “When I went to get that trolley off that guy, he said that ‘I hope you and your wife have a wonderful stay’.” Tiffany smiled back and said: “Really? That’s funny.”
The young lovers sat awkwardly for a moment before Tiffany brought the subject back up, as she spoke about Chantelle and Gray Atkins who got married young on the soap.
Maisie’s character said: “Chantelle and Gray got married well young didn’t they?” as Keegan replied: “Yeah well young.”
After discussing marriage at such a young age, Keegan finally plucked up the courage to ask his girlfriend to marry him, before actually getting down on one knee and asking the red-haired beauty: “Marry me?”
And he didn’t have to wait long for an answer, as Tiffany quipped: “Yeah, yes I’ll marry you,” as she nodded excitedly.
Viewers were left gushing over their exciting news, as they took to Twitter .
While another shared: ” #EastEnders Keegan & Tiffany, Young Love”
A third excited fan penned: “TIFFANY AND KEEGAN ARE GETTING MARRIED!! MY LOVE FOR THEM IS GETTING STRONGER AND STRONGER AND STRONGER”
“Omg Tiffany and Keegan might be young but that was ADORABLE and I support this cute marriage forever,” another wild fan added.
And one pleaded that they don’t want to see their relationship get ruined: “Ok so Tiffgan just stole my heart I ship them more then anything right now #Eastenders better not ruin this relationship!”
