A DWARF who has been accused of posing as a child and threatening to kill her adoptive family sobbed as she was grilled by Dr. Phil.
Natalia Grace Barnett denied she was a scam artist as she spoke out for the first time in an interview with the TV host that will air on Thursday.
“It’s not true at all,” she told Dr. Phil, when he asked whether she had lied about her age and terrorised the US family that took her in.
She is at the centre of a bizarre case which has seen her former adoptive parents charged with neglect after they abandoned her, claiming she is an adult.
Kristine Barnett, 45, and her now ex-husband Michael Barnett, 43, adopted Natalia, who is believed to be from Ukraine, in 2010.
A doctor who examined her in that year determined Natalia was about eight years old and had dwarfism, court documents state.
But in 2012, the parents legally changed her age to 22 before leaving her alone in a flat in Indiana, US, for three years when they moved to Canada.

The couple have been charged with neglecting Natalia – but they claim they were terrorised by the girl who they say was masquerading as a child.
Ms Barnett has claimed that Natalia poured bleach in her coffee and threatened to stab family members in their sleep.
In a preview clip, Dr Phil grilled Natalia about these accusations, causing her to break down in tears.
He asked: “Are you a 32-year-old scam artist?”
Dr Phil added: “She has painted you as an evil dwarf who is going to poison their coffee or stab them in their sleep.
“They say you scammed them, lied about your age and terrorised them.
“I guess it comes down to whether or not you are an evil psychopath demon child that’s come over here to murder everybody.”
‘I WANT PEOPLE TO HEAR MY SIDE’
Natalia was adamant that she had done nothing wrong, saying “It’s not true at all. I just want people to hear my side.”
She appeared alongside her new adoptive mother, Cynthia Mans, in the interview and the pair were seen holding hands.
They both insisted that Natalia had undergone a bone scan proving she was eight-years-old when she was adopted by the Barnett.
Prosecutors also insist she is a child who was left to fend for herself when the Barnetts abandoned her in a flat in Indiana and moved away to Canada.
The couple argue they are innocent of the crime because they believe Natalia was actually an adult at the time.
Mr Barnett spoke out last month to claim Natalia tricked them into taking her in and then threatened to kill their family.
‘SHE TRIED TO KILL OUR FAMILY’
He told The Dr Oz Show: “She attempted to kill Kristine twice. The first time she tried to poison her…when confronted it was a matter of fact answer ‘I am trying to kill you.’”
“We took her to the stress centre to have her evaluated that she is having thoughts of harming others, and she is stating out loud that she is attempting to kill Kristine.”
While at the hospital, she started making even more terrifying claims to doctors, therapists and in her notepad, Barnett claimed in the shocking clip.
“‘Not only am I trying to kill Kristine, but I’m going to kill the brothers, too. Here’s how I’m going to do it. Here’s what I’m going to do with their bodies,’” he told the show of the alleged threats.
It came after Ms Barnett claimed that Natalia poured bleach in her coffee and threatened to stab family members in their sleep.
“She would make statements and draw pictures saying she wanted to kill family members, roll them up in a blanket and put them in the backyard,” she told DailyMailTV.
“She was standing over people in the middle of the night. You couldn’t go to sleep. We had to hide all the sharp objects.
“I saw her putting chemicals, bleach, Windex something like that, in my coffee and I asked her, what are you doing? She said, ‘I am trying to poison you’.”
The mum said she began to get suspicious about Natalia’s age when she realised she had already started her period and was trying to cover it up.
She claims the girl also had adult teeth and full pubic hair.

Doctors also diagnosed her with a severe psychological illness only adults were capable of having, the mum claimed.
Ms Barnett said it led her to jumping from moving cars and smearing blood over mirrors.
The new interview will air on Dr. Phil on Thursday, November 7.
