A FORMER-Disney star has been charged with domestic violence after he allegedly gave his girlfriend a concussion.
Chris Tavarez, 27, reportedly struck his partner during an argument in early November and then was claimed to have fled the scene.

Cops were called but the actor had apparently left by the time they showed up to a home in Hollywood, California.
His girlfriend was claimed to have marks on her body but at the time refused medical treatment, TMZ reported.
A family source said that the woman, who has not been named, was later taken to hospital and treated for a concussion.
Days after the alleged assault, which happened between Nov 8-10, Tavarez was arrested on a felony charge by police.
Later he was released after posting $100,000 (£77,800) bail.
LA County District Attorney’s office has now charged Tavarez with felony domestic violence with a prior conviction.
It’s believed he could face a tougher sentence if found guilty, because of previous similar charges in the past.
In 2018, he took a plea deal after initially being charged with two counts of spousal battery.
He pled no contest to one of the counts and the second was dismissed.
As a result, Tavarez had to serve 180 days in jail, complete a one year Domestic Violence Treatment Program and pay a fine.
He was also ordered to stay away from the victim.
As part of the sentence, Tavarez was also put on 36 months of summary probation, which could mean this recent charge violates that.
