Coronation Street fans have complained to Ofcom after Gemma Winter’s horrifying dream which saw her kill her own baby by putting it in a washing machine.

Disturbing scenes which aired last night on the ITV soap saw exhausted mum Gemma wake up to one of her quads Aled, who was crying.

She took him downstairs and, as he continued to cry, proceeded to put him in the washing machine.

Gemma woke up with a start in the morning and was terrified to see him missing from his cot.

This comes amid fears from fans that Gemma is suffering from postnatal depression as she struggles to cope with life as a new mum to quads.

Last week, Gemma stormed out of a boozy meet-up with a group of yummy mummies from her yoga classes and stepped out in front of a car with the buggies.

Thankfully, everyone was okay, but a haunted Gemma later confessed to Bernie that she hasn’t slept for weeks.

Is Gemma ok?
