Robert Preston will be involved in a brutal car crash – prompting his lies to unravel on Coronation Street tonight.

The chef, played by Tristan Gemmill, continues to try to keep his double life afloat as he drives between the homes of his two fiancees.

Robert calls around to Vicky’s to speak to Tyler (Will Barnett) about the Amy situation, but it’s on his way back when disaster strikes.

While taking a call from Michelle (Kym Marsh) about Ray threatening to sue her, Robert is distracted and ends up crashing his car.

Michelle is sick with worry after being unable to get through to Robert and is horrified when she receives a call from the police.

They tell her that Robert has been in a serious accident, but is very confused when she hears that he is being taken to Macclesfield Hospital when he is supposed to be in Sanbach.

Things go from bad to worse for an unconscious Robert when he begins asking Michelle about a baby.
