Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent shares childbirth snaps as she posts emotional tribute to her midwife


CORONATION Street star Brooke Vincent has given an insight into the birth of her baby boy in an emotional Instagram post that paid tribute to her midwife.

The 27-year-old actress, who plays, Sophie Webster in the popular ITV soap, gave birth to son Mexx in October with footballer Kean Bryan.

Brooke shared a string of personal snaps and dedicated the post to her midwife Cheryl.

She wrote: “What a journey I can’t believe how fast, emotional & memorable it’s been.

“Cheryl, You came into our lives and helped us through the best part of it, from the beginning you’ve gone above and beyond for Me & Kean.”

She then went on to thank Cheryl for being so professional throughout the beginning of her journey of being a mum.

Even whilst giving birth Brooke had enough time to pose for a selfie with her midwife Cheryl[/caption]

She added: “Thank you for everything, Me and Kean will be forever grateful to have met you and had you by our sides!!!

“Our own ‘google’ Until next time Not all hero’s wear capes Midwifes are just NEXT LEVEL @private_midwives Thank you so much for all of your help on our magical journey.”

Back in April the former Dancing on Ice contestant revealed her pregnancy news in OK! where she admitted that she was always worried that having a baby wouldn’t happen for her.

She said: “I always worried it wouldn’t happen for me – I’m beside myself with happiness.

Brook even shared intimate snaps of Cheryl making sure the baby was happy and healthy[/caption]


“I’ve been playing songs to the bump and sometimes I sit and cry about how much I love my baby! I’ve always wanted to be a mum, so I’m really excited.”

Brooke met Sheffield United player Kean in the summer of 2016 after meeting through mutual friends and living in the same area.

She told OK!: “I like to think I’m the boss of our relationship but Kean has a really wise head on his shoulders, so I know he’ll be a brilliant dad.

“I’ve said to Kean that I hope our child is a show off, I want it to be a performer like me.”
