Caitlyn Jenner’s I’m A Celeb experience got off to a bad start when she realised she’d been denied the chance to party on a luxury watch ahead of her entry to the Australian jungle.
The 70-year-old Olympian and reality star had her nose out of place when she arrived on the long running ITV show aboard a speed boat.
However, the sporting legend appeared upset when she realised other stars of the show arrived on a luxury yacht – where they enjoyed drinks and gossip ahead of their entry to the camp.
Cait (who reality fans will no doubt know from Keeping Up With The Kardashians) was not the only star to arrive via speedboat – as Capital Radio DJ Roman Kemp, soap star Jacqueline Jossa, comedian Andrew Maxwell and Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts also arrived in the same style.
However, Girls Aloud legend Nadine Coyle, ex-footballer Ian Wright, Rak-Su singer Myles Stephenson, former rugby player James Haskell, and TV’s Kate Garraway all enjoyed luxury and comfort aboard the Cosmos – a luxury yacht moored off Australia’s Gold Coast.
Noting that the other celebs had enjoyed such an extravagant start to their I’m A Celeb experience, Caitlyn huffed: “Why didn’t we have a party boat?”
Nadine, Ian and co sipped fruit cocktails as they lounged on the yacht, while Nadine feared she may later be thrown out an aeroplane, nervously laughing: “Don’t make me skydive.”
Speaking to The Mirror ahead of her entry to the jungle, Cait said she was taking part in the show in the hope she will finally figure out her life.
“I thought, ‘You know what, maybe I need to go down there and sit in the woods and figure out my life, what I’m doing,” she said.
“You wind up coming out so appreciating your family, your friends, your life, what you’re trying to do. You have plenty of time to think those things out,” she continued.
“Over the last five years, I’ve really tried to do the best I can when it comes to equality. Sometimes that can be very difficult in society,” she went on.
“Politically, it can be very difficult when it comes to equality. So I kind of needed to take a breath about all of those types of things and sit back and think about my life, think about what I’m trying to do, the direction that I’m going,” she added.
Caitlyn previously appeared on the US version of I’m A Celeb in 2003 – when she was formally known as Bruce Jener.
