She’s been spending time at home in Los Angeles with her husband Marc Silverstein and their daughters Birdie Leigh, 11, and Cricket Pearl, seven.
And Busy Philipps revealed her joy after her youngest child gushed about the star’s appearance, after she strolled around in a bikini top and shorts on Wednesday.
The actress, 41, looked sensational as she enjoyed the day out with her family whilst modelling a plunging red bikini and denim shorts.
Wow! Busy Philipps showed off her incredible figure in a plunging red bikini top as she gushed about daughter Cricket complimenting her looks in snaps shared via Instagram on Wednesday
Later on she sunbathed in her bikini top and clashing striped monochrome briefs, while she accessorised with an array of quirky necklaces.
Her golden tresses were brushed into a sleek, sideswept style and she chose to embrace her natural beauty by going make-up free for the occasion.
Detailing what her daughter Cricket said to her, Busy wrote in the caption: ‘The other night Cricket(my 7 year old) said to me AND I QUOTE, “you know what I love a LOT?
‘”How you wear just a bathing suit top and, like, your jean shorts or a skirt. I don’t know why *I* don’t do that. I packed a lot of bikinis, too*. I should do that. I really like the way it looks on you.”

Proud daughter: Detailing what her youngest child Cricket said to her, Busy gushed about how she liked seeing her mother wear ‘just a bathing suit top and, like, your jean shorts or a skirt’
‘And it was so sweet and pure and loving and she still sees me as perfect (even when I am so hard on myself and can’t even see it a little bit) and anyway-how much longer could that last really?
‘Before she looks at me one day and just thinks ugh? Another year maybe? My heart will break into a million pieces when I see it.
‘Maybe it’s why some people just keep having more kids- to stave off the inevitable. But also? I don’t know. Maybe she won’t ever look at me and think ugh.
‘And also. She’s right. It IS kinda a rad look for your mom. *cricket has exactly one bikini- which she did pack, a hand me down from her sister.’
Gushing: Busy reflected on her daughter’s comment: ‘It was so sweet and pure and loving and she still sees me as perfect (even when I am so hard on myself and can’t even see it a little bit)’

In May, Busy said she’s been frustrated with her husband Marc Silverstein at times during the coronavirus quarantine.
‘It’s the worst,’ the actress jokingly told US on Tuesday. ‘I mean, I obviously couldn’t do it without him, but ugh.’
The Cougar Town actress told the magazine that she and Marc, a 48-year-old screenwriter, have arranged to get time apart as they hunker down in Los Angeles with their daughters Birdie and Cricket.
‘Listen, it’s been a process – like everything – but we have been making a point to make sure … that the other one gets time to themselves,’ she said. ‘So for Marc, a lot of times he really enjoys sitting outside by himself in the middle of the day, which is great.
‘When he’s out there, I’m like, “I’m not texting him, I’m not asking him where the spatula is that he was the last one to use.” It’s just, like, go outside, sit down, look at your phone, look at Twitter, do whatever you want to do for an hour.’
The Vice Principals actress, who’s been married to Marc since 2007, said she prefers evening or afternoon excursions to her balcony to enjoy her solitude: ‘I go up onto my balcony. I call it balcony time.’
The Oak Park, Illinois-born star added, ”We just do some family time, but also a lot of times it’s just me and Marc.’
She also noted her husband’s cooking skills – ‘He’s like a gourmet chef,’ she said – in saying they’ve enjoyed some ‘really nice dinners together’.
