Susanna Reid couldn’t help rub her win at the Reality TV Awards 2019 in Good Morning Britain co-star Piers Morgan’s face on Tuesday morning.
She picked up the gongs in the Best TV Presenter and the Best TV Personality categories, while GMB scooped the prize for the Best Talk Show.
On Tuesday morning she revealed how happy she was to win three awards in total, before the show aired a clip of her accepting an award.
But Piers wasn’t having it, and was far from pleased for his co-presenter, ranting yet again about the fact that he once again missed out – with fans calling the star “bitter” on Twitter .
Speaking in a high-pitched voice, Piers mocked her winner’s speech echoing her words.
As she repeated her win was “all down to him”, he began mimicking her saying: “It’s the only time I get to say anything.”
He then asked: “How if you never say anything have you won personality of the year exactly?”
Piers went on: “It’s a mircacle. Somehow, the woman who never says anything is personality of the year… amazing.”
He even likened her to model Kate Moss, before again hitting back at her claims she doesn’t get a word in.
Susanna revelled in the news, refusing to be put off by Piers’ comments as she continued to celebrate.
Piers didn’t stop there either, mocking his own win for GMB in the talk show category because the morning series shouldn’t have been in it.
He said: “It remains a mystery just exactly what these awards are. Or who organises them. Or what they are about. Or even how you vote!”
Piers added: “I am about winning, apparently we are the best talk show and I actually do a talk show and didn’t even get nominated. This is not actually a talk show.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
