Bindi Irwin announced she was expecting her first child with husband Chandler Powell on Tuesday last week.

And now, the Australian wildlife warrior couldn’t stop herself from gushing over her partner after he rescued a scrub python from the side of the road.

Sharing footage to her Instagram, the 22-year-old wrote: ‘My sweetheart husband rescuing a scrub python off the road who didn’t understand that cars mean danger.’

‘I’m glad Chandler loves wildlife as much as we do. I married well,’ she continued.

In the video, an out of view Bindi is heard telling the snake, ‘You gotta get off the road.’

‘He’s so cute!’ she then called out as a brave Chandler attempted to move the snake from the dirt road.

‘He’s so cool, isn’t he? Should I get him off the road,’ asked Chandler.
