Big Brother star Angela Clancy has detailed her lavish childhood growing up in the ‘Beverly Hills of Kenya’.

The larger-than-life personality has explained that her father served as the ‘director of a very big company’, and as a result, she ‘went to school with the president’s children’ and was tended to by a maid when she came home.

Speaking to WHO, the 38-year-old explained that ‘people served her’ and ‘she lived like royalty’ because, culturally, if a family was wealthy in Kenya, the children ‘didn’t have to pay board or buy their own cars’.

The bubbly fan favourite revealed: ‘I went to school with the president’s children, and when I came home, a cook made my dinner and a maid made my bed. We have a guard at the gate.’

When quizzed on whether she was spoiled, Angela admitted that while she did enjoy a pampered upbringing, her ‘devout Christian parents didn’t want her and her sisters to live in a bubble.’

‘On the weekends, the other kids would go to the mall, but we’d have to go out and feed the homeless. We wanted to go to the mall, of course, but my parents wanted us to know that life isn’t all roses,’ she revealed.

Angela – who now lives in Perth – is still well and truly living her best life, as documented on her Instagram platform.

In contrast to her housemates living off a limited, rationed diet, Angela exclusively told Daily Mail Australia: ‘The best thing about the bunker was I was having whatever I wanted!’

‘I was getting a brand new menu every day. I could choose whatever I wanted. I was living like a princess. Everything was at my disposal,’ she explained.

Angela said she ordered salmon and avocado for breakfast most days, and also enjoyed steak and chicken.

‘If nothing I liked was on the menu, likethey didn’t have pancakes on the menu, I said I would really love some pancakes, and they made them,’ she laughed.

She spent several days plotting revenge against her housemates from inside Big Brother’s secret bunker.
