BENIDORM stars Tony Maudsley and Shelley Longworth have hinted about plans to turn the much-loved series into a movie.
The pair are preparing to go on an eight-month tour with Benidorm Live after the ITV show was axed after ten years.

Today Tony told This Morning’s stand-in presenters Nigel Havers and Lisa Snowdon he was shocked it came to an end.
He said: “We were as surprised as anybody because our ratings were higher than they’d been in three years.
“We thought we were going to get another series.
“But we’re not bitter. We had ten years of brilliant fun and that’s a long time for any show.
“Our tour is turning into our swansong really.”
But co-star Shelley revealed she has begged show creator Derren Litten to write a script for Benidorm the movie.
She said: “I said ‘please Derren just write the movie’ to tie up all the loose ends.
“But we get to bow out, literally, eight times a week for the next nine months on tour.”
The Sun revealed the tenth series of Benidorm was the last amid falling ratings.
Litten denied the story on Twitter last night, but then seemed to massively backtrack when he deleted his post hours later.
