Zac met her family on the ABC reality series, which Tayshia said was one of the moments she knew he was the one.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: ‘There were multiple moments where I saw myself envisioning a life with him. I guess it really solidified when my family was involved, just because I’m really close with my family. You don’t just marry an individual, you also marry their family.

‘And it was really important for me to see him with my brothers and see how he interacted with my parents. My dad is kind of protective over me, if you haven’t noticed! So, to get his approval is everything.’

Their engagement was finally revealed last month on the Bachelorette finale, when Tayshia gave Zac her final rose.

Tayshia told E! News that they’re moving to New York City to start their life together: ‘I don’t have a return ticket at the moment. So it’s working now for us.’

Zac added: ‘The one-way ticket to New York is an amazing start, and we’re gonna take it from there. I think in 2021 we’re gonna focus on building off of this special foundation that we’ve already created…and we’re gonna have a big a** party in 2022.’

But the couple plans to remain bicoastal, as Tayshia is holding onto her apartment in Los Angeles.
