Match preview

Arsenal will bring back several of their first-team stars after resting them in midweek for their Europa League clash with Standard Liege.

Alexandre Lacazette is still sidelined with injury and Granit Xhaka is one booking away from a ban.

Unai Emery has also been speaking on dropping Mesut Ozil for the majority of matches this season.

He said: “When I decided he shouldn’t be in the squad (on Thursday) it’s because I think other players deserved it more.

“He needs to continue working. Our target is to win on Sunday against Bournemouth and we want to carry on our same way in each match.”

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has also called on his side to be more competitive against Arsenal at the Emirates.

He explained: “We haven’t started well at the Emirates Stadium in recent years so we need to start better. They’re dangerous and we’ll have to be at our best.

“We’ve trained well and the boys are believing in themselves and how we work. But I really feel there is more to come.”

Arsenal have won all five of their home matches against Bournemouth in all competitions, with an aggregate score of 16-2.
