He has been replaced by Gabriel Martinelli in the side, while Sokratis misses out in defence through illness.

Shkodran Mustafi takes his place alongside David Luiz, while Bukayo Saka and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are the full-backs.

Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira will sit in midfield, while Nicolas Pepe starts his fourth match in a row on the wing.

Gabriel Martinelli, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette make up the rest of the attack.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang misses the match through suspension after his red card at Crystal Palace last weekend.

The Gunners will also be without their captain for the games against Chelsea and Bournemouth next Monday.
