ARIANA Grande found a way to apologise to fans for having to cancel her Sunday night show because of sickness.
The 26-year-old superstar paid for her fans’ dinner, after having to pull out of her tour date in Kentucky, according to Lexington Herald Leader.
The thank u, next, hit-maker explained to fans that she was in a “lot of pain” with a serious sinus condition and could not perform, with just seven hours notice to curtain up.
A group of 40 fans who had gathered for the show got together for dinner next to the arena and Grande picked up the bill for them all.
“So we all met up at Rupp Arena, took a bunch of pictures, laughed, talked, basically made a sad situation into a happier one,” Donald Sneed, who helps to run a Grande fan Twitter feed, told the publication.
The tearful star had explained that she had to cancel a show owing to illness on her Instagram Stories on Saturday.
“So I’m still very sick. I’ve been sick since the last London show,” she wrote.
“I don’t know how it’s possible but my throat and head are still in so much pain.”
Ariana – who is currently on the road with her Sweetener tour – continued: “I sound okay I’m just in a lot of pain and it’s difficult to breathe during the show.
“I am seeing my doctor and trying my v vest to get better for tomorrow’s show.”
“The last thing I would ever want to do is cancel a show at this point with so few left.
“I’m truly cherishing every moment of this… I just really don’t know what’s happening with my body right now and need to figure it out.”
With this in mind, the star warned her fans she may have to postpone some shows, as much as she doesn’t want to.
She wrote: “Please take this as a gentle heads up…I don’t want anyone to feel blindsided tomorrow if God forbid I can’t make the show happen. I’m on all the meds. Getting IV drips, doing everything I possibly can to pull through.”

“Mum and friends are taking good care of me. Just a scary feeling. ‘Love you with all my heart and will keep you posted.”
Then Sunday, Ariana took again to Instagram to tearfully tell fans she wouldn’t be able to perform in Lexington.
She said: “So I woke up 10 times worse and it hurts so bad to swallow, I’m not really sure what’s going on.
“I don’t think I will be able to push through tonight and I’m so upset. But of course, obviously you’ll be refunded etc but I’m really devastated, thank you for understanding and sending love. I’ll keep you posted, as soon as I know what’s going on with my body but thank you for understanding.”
