Alison Hammond, 45, is known for her television work including her presenting role on ITV’s popular daytime show This Morning. She presents the show on Friday’s alongside Dermot O’Leary who took over from Ruth Langsford and Eammon Holmes last year. How much has she earned?

She also became brand ambassador for DHF Home Furnishings in 2010.

After participating in the ninth series of Celebrity MasterChef, Alison also took part in the 12th series of Strictly Come Dancing. 

She starred in the dancing show with partner Aljaž Škorjanec before finishing in 10th place.

As well as television work, the actress made her Hollywood debut in the animated film Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation.

At the time, she said: “What’s lovely about it is that everybody’s doing it, we’re not doing it on our own and I’m just taking comfort in that really, and also the fact that I’m bonding more with my son.

“We go on bike rides now, we never did that before, so there are some really great things that are coming out of this.”

Although Alison has worked with ITV’s This Morning since 2003, it was only last year she was given an opportunity to present the whole show on Friday’s.

She hosts the show alongside Dermot O’Leary who is known for his presenting work on shows like The X Factor.

He began his entertainment career as a DJ including for BBC Essex before landing a presenting role for Big Brother’s Little Brother, a spin-off show of Big Brother.

In 2001, Dermot made a notable appearance on the show Blankety Blank and in 2007, he took over from Kate Thornton’s role presenting The X Factor.

The star also hosts a show on BBC Radio 2 on Saturdays and has hosted the likes of Soccer Aid and The National Television Awards.
