Aldi shopper shares top tip for slowing down the supermarket’s fast checkout staff

Another agreed: “I have a good friend who works for Aldi, they have a quota of items to put through the till per hour, that’s why they are fast, and that’s a fact, was told by a few staff there FYI.”

Another Aldi worker added: “We’re timed, doesn’t matter how many people are waiting to [sic] us,” after one shopper commented that they seem to rush even when there’s no queue in sight. 

However, others seem to enjoy the rush at the end of their shop because it’s all part of the Aldi experience. 

One posted in the group: “I see it as a challenge and try to pack faster than they can scan.”
