Abbie Chatfield reveals the romantic pet name she called Bachelor Matt Agnew ‘too soon’ in their relationship

Abbie Chatfield held an Instagram question and answer session with her legion of followers on Tuesday.

Discussing turn offs, the reality star responded to one fan who said they hated being called the pet name ‘baby’ too soon in a relationship.

The 25-year-old then nervously revealed that she once called Matt Agnew ‘baby’ while filming The Bachelor last year.

‘I do this. I called Matt “baby”,’ the Bachelor in Paradise star admitted sheepishly to the fan.

She added: ‘Oh my god, I hate myself for it, I called Matt “baby”. I was literally like “baby can you put…” at lunch off-camera.’

‘Thank god it was off camera. I get very easily into that,’ she added.

It comes after Abbie revealed she has very specific goals in mind when it comes to her appearance on Bachelor in Paradise – and they don’t involve Australian men.

In a promotional video for the new season, Abbie said that she has her sights set on UK-born Ciarran Stott, or that she hopes to find romance with an American man.

‘Yeah I mean, I want to see Ciarran just because he’s so comfortable in himself as a man but he does feminine things. I love it,’ she explained.

Abbie added: ‘But other than that, I’m just praying for an American to come.’

However, it appears Ciarran didn’t want to limit himself to dating just one girl while on Bachelor in Paradise.

The English-born heartthrob told the Manchester Evening News in April that every girl in the villa took him out on a date, which he really enjoyed, claiming the show should be renamed ‘Ciarran in Paradise’.

‘I just thought I was on Love Island so [I] was trying to get with every bird possible,’ he said.
