She first set foot in a studio at the age of 14, and enjoyed some success with the Welsh girl group Pheena in the early noughties.
The three-piece made several appearances on TV channel S4C, bagged a couple of Welsh top-10 EPs and supported Blue on a UK tour.
Tesni was also a part of XYP, who had five top-10 singles in Holland, including a number one with their debut single “Body to Body”.
Since having her son Sean, the 32-year-old has taken a step back from the spotlight but still plies her trade as a session and backing vocalist.
She has lent her talents to tracks by Craig David, Bryan Adams and Gary Barlow.
However, having performed AC/DC’s classic track “Highway to Hell” in the blind auditions for The Voice, Tesni will be hoping for another tilt at superstardom.
