The Spaniard has won two of the first four races and holds a 12-point lead over Yamaha’s Johann Zarco in second.

When is MotoGP France?
The French Grand Prix will be held on Sunday, May 20 at 1pm.
Before that, there will be two practice sessions on Friday, May 18.
Practice One will start at 8.55am with Practice Two following at 1.05pm.
On Saturday, May 19, Practice Three will be held at 8.55am before the battle for pole begins with two qualifying sessions.
Qualifying One will start at 1.10pm with Qualifying Two commencing at 1.35pm.
