THE rumours of who will attend the royal wedding and who cannot make it are swirling thick and fast.
But Kensington Palace has confirmed those who will definitely be going – so who from the royal family has made the cut?
The Queen has approved the marriage and will be in attendance
Is the Queen going to the royal wedding?
The Queen is expected to be there for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day.
She will be attending the ceremony at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19.
There was uncertainty Prince Philip would be there after having a hip replacement, but it has since been strongly suggested he will be fit enough to attend.
There won’t be as many wedding guests as when Prince William tied the knot in 2011, but it has been confirmed Harry’s older brother will be the best man.
As well as friends and family, they also invited 2,640 members of the public to the Windsor Castle grounds including 1,200 people, who have demonstrated strong leadership in their communities.
The Queen always wears a hat and often a two piece outfit
What colour hat will the Queen be wearing?
Known for wearing a striking hat alongside an equally striking skirt and jacket combo, the Queen is likely to wear something colourful and summery to celebrate the happy couple.
There has been much speculation on what hat she will don for her grandson’s wedding.
The colours which seem to be the favourite for the Queen to wear are blue, green and pink.
Ladbrokes set blue as the number one choice at 2/1 last week.
It is unlikely she will wear the same colour as she did at Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding – yellow.
What are the odds on the colour of The Queens hat?
