CHELSEA are reportedly preparing a move for £17.5million-rated Juventus star Daniele Rugani with the defender’s future up in the air.
The 23-year-old Italian international has struggled for playing time in Turin despite being highly-rated.

He has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months as it looks increasingly likely his future lies elsewhere.
Arsenal are keen on bringing him to the Premier League, but Football Italia claims London rivals Chelsea are now plotting a swoop.

Juventus refused to do business with Napoli at the time due to the two clubs battling it out for the Serie A title.

However, if as expected Sarri replaces Antonio Conte as Chelsea manager, he will make another attempt to reunite with Rugani.
The youngster worked under the coach at Empoli before joining Juve in 2015 in a deal worth around £4m.
Reports state that Rugani’s agent Davide Torchia held a meeting today with Juve director of sport Paratici to try and secure his client’s release.
He is under contract until June 2021 at the Old Lady.
